Trust in Kim, she will guide thee. And this is how…

The people have asked: Kim, wilt thou share thine own secrets of cookery both divine and deadly?”   And Kim hath thus answered, “Yea, thou shalt be imparted with recipes that nourish the body as well as the soul.  Thou shalt know how to feed thine own body nourishing meals, treats that will thence cause the cravings to subside, and thou shalt hear the wisdom that Kim finds to be true.  Thou shalt also find a great deal of recipes for the semi-vegan, as Kim is lactose intolerant and likes to eat healthy, meat-free meals at times.”

And thus did the event take place that the Holy Blog was created, and the people were satisfied, and the people thus were found to sayeth,”It is good.” And the blog remaineth ad-free to ensure the utmost in recipe browsing pleasure.

And so, the words of Kim Heinrichs shall be known as The Truth, and shall henceforth be trusted.

  1. Pollaria Alba is on Andromeda Oriente between Satellite Sur and Centauro Norte. I hope you find it and enjoy it! I also fell in love with the paletas at Flor de Michoacan on the highway near Jupiter sur. They have a gorgeous patio out back too.

  2. I am currently in Tulum and am trying to find this Pollaria Alba bbq chicken place??? Help………. Great bog…

  3. Hi Kim. I was trying to find a link where I could email you directly but to no avail. Your Vanilla Rum Cake is a keeper. Was wondering if you had a delicious Red Velvet cake recipe. It’s so hard to find a red velvet cake that’s done right. I tried a Paula Deen recipe recently and it came out awful! thanks for your help!

    1. I don’t have a red velvet cake recipe that I’ve tried, but my mom always made an amazing vanilla cake, which was a red velvet without the food colouring. I hope to get around to posting that one day. In the meantime, I found this recipe for a red velvet cake using natural colouring:

  4. I love your blog, Kim! Your pictures are beautiful; everything looks delicious. I’m not much of a baker, but I’m going to try making your chocolate biscotti. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Great blog, Kim! Can’t wait to try your black bean soup. You have to check out lottieanddoof.com. You will LOVE it! Be careful, you could spend hours just drooling over the pictures.
